Add your device and understand the health score

Updated Oct 24, 20261 min read

Getting your device into the app

Your device shows up in My Devices once the shop has linked it to your account. The easiest way is to ask the shop to link it when you buy or bring it in; they can scan the QR sticker on it.

  1. Open My Devices.
  2. Tap your device to open its page.
  3. Look for the health score, the date and any alerts.

What the health score means

The health score is one number from 0 to 100 for how well your laptop is doing. It starts at 100 and goes down when something needs attention.

  • Battery wear and low charge
  • A drive that is failing or worn, or very little free storage
  • Heat, or the processor slowing itself down
  • Crashes in the last 7 days
  • Memory or processor use that stays very high for hours

The list of reasons on the device page tells you exactly what lowered the score. A short spike does not change it; only things that last do.

If your device is switched off or offline, the app keeps showing its last score until the device reports again.
